The Hudson had the style shown and the B-34 Lexington had a 4 door system (actually 2 doors hinged times 2). Completely different.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01501197539197446318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5470545423650754178.post-12680895711426996842012-05-05T19:48:56.788-07:002012-05-05T19:48:56.788-07:00SASC Spokane Air Service Command

From what I could tell in research, the Lexington and the Hudson are almost identical airframes, with the Hudson having fuselage windows and the Lexington omitting all but the forward one. What swayed me to the Lexington determination was that this version appeared to have longer bomb bay doors, as shown in the post-fire photo. I reserve the right to be completely wrong, though!Alan Radeckihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05363748649625404498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5470545423650754178.post-15999951254154439612012-01-04T20:29:09.325-08:002012-01-04T20:29:09.325-08:00This is not a B-34 Lexington.
